resident evil continues to be a wonderful comfort series for me
i picked up resident evil requiem today. i looked directly into the tear-soaked eyes of my bank account with little to no remorse, and said "deal with it". angela sant'albano is apparently the voice actor for grace ashcroft, and boy howdy is she absolutely crushing this role. i am already hooked, and a large part of that is due to her performance. i have chosen to play both grace's and leon's sections in third person perspective because i have never been a fan of first person in video games. it's not because it makes me motion sick or anything, i just prefer to see the characters; especially when the character is a custom lil' guy from a character creator, despite that not being applicable here. i never understood games giving you the option to create a character and then you never get to actually see them during gameplay...that just seems very silly to me. cyberpunk, why the fuck are you first person??? please reply. anyway, this game is wonderful so far, and i am so happy that i finally decided to get into the resident evil series last year. i played through all of the mainline games in preparation for requiem, and i had such a great time.
